CriticalGHSA-2hvh-c5c2-vj85CVE-2015-7695
Zend Framework SQL injection vector using null byte for PDO
Published 17 May 2022 · Updated 23 Apr 2024
Affected package
zendframework/zendframework1Composer
- Affected
- <1.12.16
- Fixed in
- 1.12.16
Update to the fixed version for your release line, for example:
composer require zendframework/zendframework1:^1.12.16Details
The PDO adapters in Zend Framework before 1.12.16 do not filer null bytes in SQL statements, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a crafted query.
Is GHSA-2hvh-c5c2-vj85 in any of your client repos?
Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected zendframework/zendframework1, and gives you the command that fixes it.
