HighGHSA-6w4v-qr4m-97ggCVE-2022-25838
Multi-Factor Authentication issue in Laravel Fortify
Published 25 Feb 2022 · Updated 8 Nov 2023
Affected package
laravel/fortifyComposer
- Affected
- <1.11.1
- Fixed in
- 1.11.1
Update to the fixed version for your release line, for example:
composer require laravel/fortify:^1.11.1Details
Laravel Fortify before 1.11.1 allows reuse within a short time window, thus calling into question the "OT" part of the "TOTP" concept.
Is GHSA-6w4v-qr4m-97gg in any of your client repos?
Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected laravel/fortify, and gives you the command that fixes it.
