Laravel framework susceptible to reflected cross-site scripting
Published 10 Mar 2025 · Updated 14 Mar 2025
Affected package
laravel/frameworkComposer
- Affected
- >=11.9.0 <11.36.0
- Fixed in
- 11.36.0
Update to the fixed version for your release line, for example:
composer require laravel/framework:^11.36.0Details
The Laravel framework versions between 11.9.0 and 11.35.1 are susceptible to reflected cross-site scripting due to an improper encoding of route parameters in the debug-mode error page.
Is GHSA-83wp-f5c3-hqqr in any of your client repos?
Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected laravel/framework, and gives you the command that fixes it.
