Details

Failing to properly encode user input, online media asset rendering (*.youtube and *.vimeo files) is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. A valid backend user account or write access on the server system (e.g. SFTP) is needed in order to exploit this vulnerability.

Is GHSA-8m6j-p5jv-v69w in any of your client repos?

Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected typo3/cms, and gives you the command that fixes it.
