Affected package

Affected
<5.7.1
Fixed in
5.7.1
Update to the fixed version for your release line, for example:composer require pimcore/pimcore:^5.7.1

Details

In Pimcore before 5.7.1, an attacker with limited privileges can bypass file-extension restrictions via a 256-character filename, as demonstrated by the failure of automatic renaming of .php to .php.txt for long filenames, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-10867 and CVE-2019-16317.

Is GHSA-cxj7-4jpj-2q38 in any of your client repos?

Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected pimcore/pimcore, and gives you the command that fixes it.
