HighGHSA-gmff-vcv6-mmfrCVE-2018-14057
Pimcore CSRF Vulnerability
Published 14 May 2022 · Updated 18 Feb 2024
Affected package
pimcore/pimcoreComposer
- Affected
- <5.3.0
- Fixed in
- 5.3.0
Update to the fixed version for your release line, for example:
composer require pimcore/pimcore:^5.3.0Details
Pimcore before 5.3.0 allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks by leveraging validation of the X-pimcore-csrf-token anti-CSRF token only in the "Settings > Users / Roles" function.
Is GHSA-gmff-vcv6-mmfr in any of your client repos?
Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected pimcore/pimcore, and gives you the command that fixes it.
