HighGHSA-xc9p-r5qj-8xm9CVE-2023-28108

Improper quoting of columns when calling methods "getByUuid" & "exists" on UUID Model

Published 17 Mar 2023 · Updated 8 Nov 2023

Affected package

Affected
<10.5.19
Fixed in
10.5.19
Update to the fixed version for your release line, for example:composer require pimcore/pimcore:^10.5.19

Details

Impact

The quoting is not done properly in UUID DAO model, so there's the theoretical possibility to inject custom SQL if the developer is using this methods with input data and not doing proper input validation in advance and so relies on the auto-quoting being done by the DAO class.

Is GHSA-xc9p-r5qj-8xm9 in any of your client repos?

Checking one package by hand is fine. Checking it across forty client projects is not. NPMscan reads the lockfiles in every GitHub repo you pick, finds each project with an affected pimcore/pimcore, and gives you the command that fixes it.
